As you might know, Oster clippers are one of the best, if not the best in the industry. They are heavy-duty and are designed to handle volumes of cutting. They have detachable blades that make cutting cleaner. What you might not know (and I certainly didn’t) is a proper maintenance of these clippers. Well, I found a great video that shows you how to take care of Oster clippers.
Here is a quick summary of clippers maintenance:
Changing grease: twice a year.
Put a drop of oil in a silver button: once a month (or if clippers are too hot).
Keep the lent vent free of dust.
Replace carbon brushes: whenever the power gets om and off, it means these brushes are worn out.
Wash the blade in bladewash: once a week.
Oil the blades: every three times you use them. Put 3 drops on the blade and a drop on every rail.
